This year’s ASID Michigan Chapter Student Competition focuses on the student’s personal style. Through the understanding of the elements and principles of design, the ability to demonstrate design expression through presentation skills, exhibit design knowledge through technical skills and choosing appropriate finish & furniture selections, students will be presenting projects that are uniquely them. Utilizing Suite #27 at the Michigan Design Center, students wishing to participate in this competition will design their own office | design studio space that must incorporate a vignette that reflects their own individual style and design philosophies by submitting two 16” x 20” presentation boards due on February 1, 2012 to the ASID Michigan Chapter Office.
